Turtle Beach Stealth 700
Turtle Beach is a name that immediately comes to mind when you are thinking about high-quality Bluetooth headsets.
The company is definitely among the leading names when it comes to both wired gaming headsets and wireless gaming headsets, but it's the Bluetooth versions that tend to get the most attention.
The Turtle Beach Stealth 700 is another fantastic addition to the line, bringing the usual level of quality alongside some excellent extra features.
A great deal of the utility for this headset comes down to its Xbox One compatibility. While you've been able to use wireless headsets with the console for some time now, it's always required the use of a dongle or some other attachment.
This headset, however, works with the system natively, making it easily the best headset for those who already own the console. It's hard to overstate how nice it is to have a high-end Bluetooth gaming headset that will work with this console.
The downside here is that you do use a lot of utility if you're looking to use the headset with something other than the Xbox One.

It's not a bad Bluetooth headset by any stretch of the imagination, it just loses some of its lusters when it isn't in a unique position. It still has an excellent sound quality and a very good microphone, but it's hard to see this headset as anything other than an accessory that's absolutely meant to be paired with the Xbox One. If you have the console, though, this is a must-buy.
- Excellent sound quality
- Works perfectly with Xbox One
- Perfect mic sensitivity
- Best features work with the Xbox One
- Doesn't really stand out compared to other Turtle Beach models

SteelSeries Arctis Pro
Good gaming headsets need to be about more than sound.
An awful lot of marketing focuses on great bass or picking up tiny environmental clues, but too few people think about the other half of the equation. Modern games require you to stay in contact with a squad, and for that, you'll need an excellent microphone. Fortunately, this is one headset that really delivers.
If you're looking for the biggest selling point that this unit has, it's got to be the mic. It's generally considered to be one of the best in the industry, and for good reason – it's sensitive enough to pick up a whisper, but it's still very good at keeping out extraneous noise.
It's the type of microphone you really want to have if you are playing any type of online game or even if you're just using the headset for a phone call, so it's worth the price of admission for this headset just to get access to the mic.

There's a lot of other great things about the Arctis SteelSeries Pro, of course. It works really well with the PS4 and it does have very good sound quality, though the sound's not quite up to the level of the microphone.
It's also relatively comfortable and looks nice, which are good factors to add to any headset.
In the end, though, this is a headset that you're going to want to pick up primarily for the great microphone. If transmitting isn't terribly important to you, there's not a lot else here that's going to wow you.
- One of the best microphones on the market
- Works really well with the PS4
- Great aesthetics
- Sound quality is nothing to write home about
- Not great for those who don't use the mic

SteelSeries Arctis 7
What do you look for when you're trying to find the best possible headset? Most people start with sound quality, but that's really just part of the equation.
You also want utility, the ability to work with your platform of choice, and even a good mic to ensure that you can stay in contact with people.
If you want the best, you're going to look at something that's very similar to the SteelSeries Arctis 7.
There's a tremendous amount to like about this headset. The Clearcast mic is always a standout, as it's one of the best headset mics on the market. The sound quality is also fairly solid, not exactly industry-leading but still very good.
It's the other bits and pieces that make this one special, though. It works with virtually every platform, though not always in Bluetooth mode. It's also incredibly comfortable and very easy to use, making it the kind of headset that you'll be happy to wear even during the longest sessions of gaming. the SteelSeries Arctis 7 feels like a perfect addition to any gaming set-up.
That's not to say that everything here is spectacular, though.
You can't really point to any major faults, per se, just a few minor annoyances that detract from the overall product. The sound quality probably should be a little better at this price point, and the look of the device doesn't really stand out.

CORSAIR Void PRO
Some of the best wireless Bluetooth headsets are found in the gaming space. It's not really such a surprise, though – gamers require good sound, great mics, and as little lag as possible in their communication.
One excellent example of these principles at work is the CORSAIR Void PRO.
There's really not a bad feature for this headset. The sound quality is excellent – not quite at the top of what you'd expect from Bluetooth, but close enough – as is the ability of the headset to pick up sound. It's also fairly comfortable and very durable, so you won't be looking for a replacement for quite some time.
It not only has a great battery, but a nice feature that will let you know exactly how charged your battery is on a glance. Taken together as a whole, it's a nice headset that's certainly going to work for just about any use to which you can put it.

If there's a downside to this headset, it's probably in the design. It is, for lack of a better word, a very game-y headset. It definitely looks like it has a single purpose, which is really a shame. This is a solid piece of engineering that's good for everything from listening to music to playing games, but most people are going to dismiss it based on looks alone.
If you can get past the aesthetics, though, you will be rewarded with an excellent piece of tech that will serve your needs well.
- Great sound quality
- Great mic
- Very durable
- Doesn't look great
- Could be a bit more comfortable

HyperX Cloud Flight
There are plenty of different wireless headsets out there, so it's a good idea to know what you want before you start shopping.
Some people need the absolute top of the line and are willing to pay a premium. Others just want a good headset that will stand up to regular use.
If you're looking for a headset that's somewhere in between, this headset from HyperX will definitely fit the bill. Though it's not necessarily going to hang with the highest-end products on the market, it does a good job of providing an excellent experience at a good price point.
The HyperX Cloud Flight could realistically be considered to be a good introduction to the world of wireless Bluetooth headsets.
It's a step above what you're going to find in the bargain section, but it doesn't carry the same price tag as you'd find with the higher-end items. As you might expect, this means that the general performance of the headset is also somewhere in the middle.
The HyperX Cloud Flight manages to provide a solid sense of sound at all times and has a reasonably solid microphone, but the best feature is how easy the headset is to use.
The controls are all onboard and very intuitive, making it a great first step into a wider world of headsets.

SteelSeries Arctis 7 (2019 Edition)
SteelSeries is a consistent contender for the best headset manufacturer, with a fairly wide range of products and some outstanding design features. The 2019 iteration of the Arctis 7 is both a great example of what the company does perfectly and a good example of the ways that it's still growing.
Though it's not one of the most expensive headsets out there, it nonetheless has a strong claim to being among the Best Wireless Bluetooth Headsets for a specific type of user. Examining the headset a little more closely helps to make this claim a bit more understandable.
The best place to start is with the aesthetics. This looks like a professional headset, and that continues to how it works. The sound quality you get here is amazing at this price point, but the microphone is even better.
It allows for incredibly clear communication no matter what else is going on in the room, which is a huge selling point. The headset also has 24 hours of battery life, making it one of the few headsets out there that are really equipped for marathon gaming. In many ways, it's got everything a gamer could want.

The downside here is mostly in the form of comfort. The headset looks great, but you do sacrifice a little bit of comfort. It's not the kind of thing that's going to make you walk away from the headset, but it should be noted.
There are also some customer service issues when the headset doesn't work as advertised, but all in all, it's still a fantastic headset.
- Great mic
- Unique look
- Really strong sound quality
- Not as comfortable as some other models
- Major customer service issues

Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930
Logitech is one of those names with which you are already familiar if you have spent any time using computer peripherals. Though the company is probably better known for having solid but low-cost equipment, it does make some really stellar computer accessories. A good example of the company performing better than you might expect is with its wireless gaming headsets.
The G930 is a good piece of equipment, especially for those who are looking for something a little less flashy and a little easier to work within the category of wireless Bluetooth headsets.
The first thing you're going to notice with this Logitech headset is that it's remarkably solid. This isn't one of those cheap mics that you hooked up to a stand next to your computer – it's a higher-end product that is really meant to be taken seriously.
It shares a lot in the looks department with a number of other designs in its price range, though the larger switches and the dial are definitely fairly unique for this model. User-friendly design has definitely taken a priority over making sure that the headphones look flashy, which is something that many users will probably end up appreciating.

Under the hood is where things are just a bit less special. The Dolby Surround Sound is good, but it's not quite as good as some of the other sound systems that you'll find in this category. At ten hours, the battery life is also fine – just not spectacular.
Taken as a whole, though, the headset does work incredibly well.
- Very easy to use
- Solid design
- Great for new users
- Battery life could be longer
- Chunky aesthetics

Turtle Beach Ear Force Stealth 450
Turtle Beach continues to make excellent headsets, even if the market has rapidly changed over the last few years. Where the company excels, though, is with traditional design. It's not so much that it's been left behind by other competitors as other competitors are finally starting to get on the same level.
If you want a good example of why Turtle Beach remains one of the best makers of wireless headsets on the market today, you'll want to take a look at the Stealth 450.
While the headset actually looks fairly generic compared to some of the other designs used by Turtle Beach, there's quite a bit of great teach stuffed inside. The most impressive bits have to do with sound – it's got a true surround sound system that helps users to pinpoint where enemies are in games and provide for an excellent feeling of immersion.
The sound is so sensitive, in fact, that most users will be able to pick up on environmental sounds more easily than most of their teammates. Combined with a fairly impressive fifteen hours of battery life, this is easily one of the best headsets out there for competitive play.
If there are faults here, it's in how the device is controlled. Things like game sounds and chat sounds are controlled by the same switch and actually changing the settings is tougher than it needs to be.

- DTS Surround Sound Modes & EQ Audio Presets - Personalize your audio preferences with a variety of EQ audio presets and sound modes.
- 15-Hour Battery Life - With up to 15-hours of gaming per charge, you'll always be ready to play.
This is a good piece of technology, but you will absolutely need to have some familiarity with how Turtle Beach headsets work to get the most from the device.
- Fantastic surround sound
- Great battery life
- Great at picking up in-game noises
- Aesthetics are a little boring
- Harder to use than absolutely necessary

SteelSeries Arctis 3 Bluetooth
SteelSeries Arctics line is definitely among the best out there, but each model tends to thrive in particular situations.
The Arctis 3 isn't going to hold its ground against the latest iteration of the Arctis 7, for example, but it manages to be one of the better budget-priced Bluetooth headsets available on the market today. It's a good example of how you can get a lot of performance out of a relatively small package, all without sacrificing what makes the line so special to so many consumers.
If you've looked at any of the Arctis-series bluetooth headphones, you should already know what to expect here. It's got a solid sound system in place that's going to help to keep you competitive in most games and it's got an excellent mic that will help you to ensure that you are always able to communicate clearly with your own team.
The wireless headset is also very comfortable and features a design inspired by athletic clothing, something that will help to ensure that your hears don't get too sweaty when you're in the middle of a marathon session. It's a solid bit of work from a company that already has a great reputation.

LucidSound LS35X
Getting a good Bluetooth headset for the Xbox One can be tricky. The company has always used proprietary methods of connection instead of using typical Bluetooth protocols, which has made using wireless headsets a bit of a pain.
You could always use a USB attachment to achieve the experience, but it's only relatively recently that you could do so natively. There are only a relative handful of headsets that can work directly with the Xbox One today, among which the LucidSound LS35X stands out. If you're looking for the ideal headset to work with your console, this may be the one for you.
This is still a worthwhile headset even if you don't have an Xbox One, though you won't get quite the utility you get with the console when you use it elsewhere. The entire experience seems very geared towards console gamers, which means that all of the controls are available on the headset and that you don't have to do much poking around in order to get the best possible user experience.
The headset is comfortable and has fairly solid sound quality, though there are some drop-out issues for which consumers should be on the lookout.
